A new season of Sprintcar racing began at Archerfield Speedway on saturday night 5.10.2013 with Dan and the Comstar Internet Q44 Sprintcar team. Dan was in group four in the time trials and recorded a time of 12.218 seconds at 117.85kph. The first round of heats found Dan in group one on the front row out of position two. When the lights went green Dan was on the outside throught turn one and then in turn two a clash of wheels saw Dan contact the fence hard,turning the car over and doing major damage the front end an chassis. Thankfully Dan was able to get out and was unhurt and gave a bow to the crowd. The car was unable to be repaired and was out for the night. While it was not the best way to start a new season all effort is currently underway to have Q44 back for the next meeting on the 19th of October. Come by and say hi. See you in the pits!!!!!!!
