Round two of the KRE series at Archerfield saw Dan at the wheel of the Supercheap Auto Sprintcar. With Paul Morris away in New Zealand, Dan was offered the drive in the #67 Supercheap Sprintcar. In an unfamiliar car Dan settled in really well and finished time trials in 14th place with a lap of 11.93 seconds. Dan started out of position four in his first heat and after a gentle spin and some contact with another car Dan finished the heat in 5th place. Back in the pits some damage was found on the front end and once quickly replaced he was back in business. A similar result in heat two, starting out of position four and finishing in 5th place put Dan straight into the A Main in position 13. After an early yellow light the race had a long green stint and gave Dan the opportunity to put in some good consistant laps and get a good feel for the Supercheap car. On a slick track dan tried running both the top and bottom and at the chequered flag finished in 11th place. During the night Dan was also given the opportunity to drive the Supercheap Auto 2 Seater Sprintcar and take guests out for some hot laps.
